1. Newcastle will be involed in the relegation battle for long periods this season.
Newcastle laboured to a 1-0 victory over Bournemouth at vitality stadium but their performances suggest they are well in this relegation fight.

2. Man Utd are title contenders but won't win the title.
Man Utd secured a crucial victory over West Brom but struggled to break them down for over an hour. West Brom also missed great opportunities to level but United won in the end. They haven't been convincing this season but they are still in the title race, but I don't think the Premier League trophy will end up at the red half of Manchester this season.

3. Leicester are genuine top 4 contenders
Leicester City are on fire and they don't look like slowing down anytime soon. With another impressive victory over Watford, Leicester are now only 2 points off top spot. It will be a stretch to say they are title contenders but I can say they are top 4 contenders because no one saw them sitting in 3rd after 12 games gone. They already have 25 points this season. Last season it took  them till April to places points.

4. West Ham and Everton will be challenging for Europa League places
West Ham and Everton produced a scintillating performance in their 1-1 draw to suggest both teams will be competing at the right end of the table this season.

5. Southampton are back, Sunderland will be relegated.
After a sluggish start to the season, Southampton are now back to the levels they displayed last season with a 1-0 victory over Sunderland at the stadium of light. As for Sunderland, When Sam Allardyce first took over, initially I said they will survive but with the way they shot themselves in the head by gifting Southampton a needless penalty on Saturday its safe to say they will be relegated.

6. Swansea are an early season team
With their performances in recent weeks, its safe to say Swansea are an early season team. Last season, Swansea won all their games in August and did well in September but faded off after. This season the same thing happened again, played well in all their August and September games but have since faded off again. That brought me to my conclusion that it's only in the early weeks of the season they usually perform.

7. Chelsea cannot make top 4 again
Chelsea have already lost 7 games this season and the defending champions look in real trouble. The fans still hope they will make top 4 but the problem is that with every passing week, they get further and further away. I see them finishing around 7th/8th and that will be a good season because of their terrible start and that's if they turn it around and go on a run of games and that doesn't look like its happening anytime soon.

8. Man City need Agüero and Silva back, Aston Villa ready for relegation fight.
Man City struggled to break down a resolute Aston Villa side yesterday as they dropped 2 points in the title race. City created a lot of opportunities but couldn't finish them off as Sterling and Debruyne were wasteful in front of goal, they need Agüero and Silva back to continue their title challenge. As for Aston Villa, they produced a spirited performance as they shut out the league leaders. Remi Garde the new manager has started well and with this performance they have shown they are ready for the relegation fight.

9. Arsenal can win the title, Spurs are fully ready for the top 4
Arsenal weren't at their best yesterday but still managed to get a draw in a game they could easily have lost. Petr Cech produced a stunning save to deny Spurs a 2nd goal and it proved crucial as Arsenal got their equalizer late on. As for Spurs, they are ready for the top 4. This was a brilliant performance in a very tough away game at the Emirates but came out with a point and let's not forget their 4-1 mauling of leaders Man City. All these point to a fact that they are ready for the top 4.

10. Crystal Palace has found a new home in Anfield
Crystal Palace produced an impressive 2-1 victory over Liverpool at Anfield. They also beat Liverpool 3-1 home and away last season. All these made me conclude that their new home is now Anfield. As for Liverpool, Jürgen Klopp has been welcomed to the Premier League with his first defeat. The honeymoon is over and he now knows the size of the task ahead to take Liverpool to the top 4 with Spurs being their main challengers for that 4th spot.
