According to a Alessandro Proto,a minority share holder in AS Monaco, the club made a £35.5m bid for Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho. It is suggested that AS Monaco intend to buy out he's contract from Chelsea FC, which runs till 2019.
The Portuguese Chelsea FC manager is under pressure after loosing 7 games (out of 11) this season, but it seems the manager Still has the backing of Chelsea Chairman and owner, Roman Abramovic who rejected the offer.
Proto revealed last week that Monaco were interested in securing the services of Jose Mourinho and has Since confirmed his desire to land him.
Proto claims he met Chelsea chief Roman Abramovic in London in a bid to prise Mourinho away which hasn't worked out so far.
It is said that the offer will be doubled to £71m and Proto believes the Chelsea chief would see this deal too good to refuse.
