David Beckham, England new boss?

Ex-Manchester United ace admits he could wake up one day and fancy a move into management after break from the game according to The Sun UK

The former Three Lions skipper, 41, has always insisted he has no desire to become a manager.

But in a special event at London’s Jewish Community Centre, he admitted the thought of leading his country could cause a change of mind.

Beckham said: “So many people have turned round to me and said ‘why don’t you want to be an England manager in five years, ten years?’

“That might change at some point in the future. I might wake up one morning and think ‘Maybe I could be a good manager’.”

On Jose Mourinho’s move into the manager’s chair at his old club Manchester United, the former Old Trafford No 7 added: “I think it’s perfect, personally. I’ve always loved Mourinho as a manager.

“I’ve loved his character, he’s great for the Premiership.
“It’s great to see him as a United manager.”
