Manchester City will announce the signing of Brazilian
forward Gabriel Jesus within the next 24 hours, according to Sky.
The 19-year-old reportedly turned down the chance to join
compatriot Neymar at Barcelona in order to link up with Pep Guardiola at City.
Jesus attracted interest from across Europe after scoring 19
goals in 30 games this season for Palmeiras.
According to Sky, Jesus will finish the season with
the Brazilian club before joining City.
The forward, who primarily plays on the wing, is set to
represent his country at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil this month.
Jesus will become Guardiola's fourth high-profile signing of
the summer, following the arrival of Leroy Sane, Ilkay Gundogan and Nolito.
