Real Madrid just edge out PSG

If there is anything like injustice in football, that's exactly what I will call the clash between PSG and Real Madrid yesterday night at the Santiago Bernabeu. Real Madrid were the home team and the favorites heading into the match but they were outplayed by a dominant PSG side who did everything yesterday but the ball won't just go into the net. PSG dominated proceedings and had numerous
chances to score including Cavani, Dimaria, Ibrahimovich, Matuidi all had decent chances but fluffed their lines. Madrid then struck with virtually their first attack of the match through substitute Nacho who appeared to be lining up a cross into the box but the ball fortuitously creeped into the back of the net. That was the goal that sealed the game. In the 2nd half, Madrid just defended their goal very well and PSG found it hard to penetrate. The result was always gonna be significant because it will determine who will top this group. As it stands, Madrid look to be in pole position to top the group and they have already qualified for the second round. This defeat is PSG's first defeat in all competitions this season. Madrid are still yet to concede a goal after 4 games in the champions league this season and Rafa Benitez defensive tactics seems to be working well for Los Blancos.
